John Ben Snow
Memorial Trust
The John Ben Snow Memorial Trust issued a grant to support two collaborative
programs between member colleges and public schools (grade 1-9) in
rural areas or inner cities. Participating in this innovative program
were: Alfred University (Alfred, NY) and Manhattanville College (Purchase,
NY). The Snow Public/Private Learning collaboration identified an
academic area in the public schools which benefited from the uses
of technology, the involvement of college faculty, and the active
participation by college students serving as mentors.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Undergraduate Science Research Grant
The Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation awarded competitive grants to Pratt Institute
and The College of Saint Rose to support a summer science research
project involving undergraduate students and faculty.
UPS State Venture Fund

Hobart & William Smith, Le Moyne, and Wells. These funds matched
monies raised by each college and the grants were used to stimulate
donations from new or lapsed donors.
Xerox Foundation
The Xerox Foundation awarded a grant to support academic program development
with technology as the key component. In 2006-2007, St. Thomas Aquinas
College and D’Youville College were recipients of this contribution.
